How Do Electronic Cigarettes Work?

Electronic smoking is a good idea that many people just don’t understand. After all, smoking is smoking, so how can one kind of smoking be harmful while another kind isn’t? The key to understanding what e-smoking is all about is all in the difference between smoke and vapor.

You see, the cigarette like devices made by companies like Real Electronic Cigarettes don’t create smoke, they create vapors. This is done with a small battery powered atomizer inside the cigarette. The atomizer is used to heat up a nicotine packed liquid and turn it into a smoke like vapor. That vapor can be inhaled and exhaled just like smoke. But smoke and vapor are two entirely different entities.

Traditional cigarette smoke is filled with, literally, thousands of harmful chemicals. These toxins are carried through the air and inhaled by anyone else in the room as secondhand smoke. But the watery vapor that’s emitted by electric cigarettes is not harmful at all.

Make no mistake; electronic cigarettes will not help you kick the smoking habit. They’re filled with nicotine and that’s what cigarette smokers are actually addicted to. But smokers who are looking for an alternative to traditional smoking that’s affordable, and can be done almost anywhere, should take a look at these battery powered cigarettes.
